Bury Theatre Workshop presents a studio production entitled Being English, a double bill on the reality and the absurdity of the English at The Unitarian Meeting House, Bury St Edmunds, from April 10 to 12 at 7.30pm.

The first pert of the evening is 12 Tiny Plays, which has been adapted from Craig Taylor’s ‘One Million Tiny Plays about Britain’ into short dramatic pieces which portray the funny and heartbreaking side of UK life.

The second half of the evening is Eugene Ionesco’s The Bald Prima Donna, a classic example of the genre known as ‘theatre of the absurd’. Verging on the insane in its style the short plays looks at suburban ‘middle class’ life and attitudes.
