Raising money for Comic Relief and in commemoration of 100 years since the start of the Great War, Bury Theatre Workshop presents Blackadder Goes Forth.
The theatre adaptation from the popular television series will be performed at the Unitarian Meeting House, Bury St Edmunds from November 13 to 15.
Set in 1917 on the Western Front in the trenches of World War I, this classic comedy follows Captain Blackadder’s attempts to escape the trenches through various schemes, most of which fail due to misunderstandings and general incompetence of his comrades, Lieutenant George and Private S. Baldrick.
It is directed by Josh Brown, with Terry Smith in the role of Blackadder.
Tickets are £9 (£8 Sat matinee and £10 Sat evening) and are avilable from www.burytheatreworkshop.org.uk
