A fast-growing family music festival is returning to West Suffolk this month, bringing heaps of local talent to its stage.
Bardfest 2015, taking place in Bardwell on July 10 and 11, attracted around 2,000 visitors last year.
Started in 2010 as a family village event, Bardfest is growing its fanbase each year while continuing to champion local musicians.
This year’s bill includes rock band Walkway, who have supported Status Quo and The Darkness, and Speedometer featuring James Junior, who supported the Earth, Wind and Fire experience at the O2 in June.
There will also be a full bar with 30 ales from some of the country’s finest microbreweries, craft ciders, Prosecco and Pimm’s.
All proceeds will be reinvested into the village’s Sports & Community Club.
