Adrian Edmondson brings his Bad Shepherds back to Bury St Edmunds on Friday July 25.

The band’s current line-up features Ade Edmondson on vocals and mandolin, Troy Donockley (Iona, You Slosh, Maddy Prior, Midge Ure and many more) on Uilleann pipes, bouzouki, whistles and vocals, percussionist Terl Bryant (from Iona, John Paul Jones Band) and double bass player Tim Harries (Steeleye Span).

Enjoy folked-up arrangements of punk classics by the likes of The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Stranglers, The Undertones, The Buzzcocks and many more.

The Bad Shepherds were born when Adrian toured with the Bonzos.

He brought his mandolin along, and with Neil Innes on acoustic guitar, they had a go at London Calling in the dressing room. It sounded good but Neil said ‘what you need are some brilliant musicians’.

The gig at The Apex starts at 7.45pm.

Tickets are £21.50.
