Youngsters put their artistic talents on show at the Under Cover Art Exhibition, in Bury St Edmunds
Spray paint, canvasses and an old car helped to transform graffiti into works of art for a display with a difference.
Youngsters aged 13 to 18 put their talents into the Under Cover Art exhibition, at the Athenaeum, in Bury St Edmunds, on Saturday.
Simon Pickering, youth and community development officer for St Edmundsbury Borough Council, teamed up with the detached youth work scheme to put on the display, which proved a huge success.
"There has been an increasing problem with graffiti so we were given the task to work with the people that are doing it on the streets to try to get them to see it more as an art form and less of a nuisance.
"We had a really good response from members of the public," said Mr Pickering.
Some of the work which drew the most attention included a Teletubby holding a vodka bottle, a car covered in spray paint and a cube with the outside covered in views of how people see youngsters and opinions of how they see themselves on the inside.
