The Cattle Market's flagship Debenhams building got its doors this week as work continued on the site, while the framework around the outside of the department store was also going up.
Meanwhile, workers have been laying zinc on the timberwork roofs of apartments visible in the distance from the Bury Free Press kitchen, which have also seen a spiral staircase fitted to the St Andrew's Street side of the building.

And it's not just the skyline that's changing – construction has also begun on the ramp to the new underground car park.
