The women who farmed the fields as Land Army girls during World War Two were honoured in a reception on Angel Hill, Bury St Edmunds.
The 30 women, including members of the Womens' Timber Corps, were presented with honorary certificates by mayor of St Edmundsbury, Margaret Charlesworth on Sunday.
