Debenhams has officially taken over its building on the Cattle Market development.
Work will continue on the outside of the building as the 'fish scales' continue being slotted into place, but work fitting out the inside can now get under way.

Debenhams is the first retailer to move on to the site, but work continues on the shops opposite, including Next, Wallis and Monsoon.

As the buildings off St Andrew's Street South are developed further, the walkways are becoming clearer, including those which will eventually be connected with the Market Thoroughfare and Central Walk, taking shoppers directly to the town centre.

Concrete roof slabs have also begun to go up on the sloping metal framework of the public building.

Finally, work has started on the walls to the ramp of the underground car park.
