Needham Market 5,
Thetford Town 2
Needham progressed into the Ridgeons League Cup semi-finals after a convincing second half performance at Bloomfields last night.

The visitors battled hard and took the lead through Andrew Wood before James Evans' 15th goal of the season levelled the scores.

Karl Pask continued his fine form in front of goal to put the Brecklanders back in front at the break.

But, second half goals from defenders Rhys Barber (2) and Richard Butler (2) sealed the vicory for the hosts.

The Reds will now travel to Felixstowe & Walton Utd on March 4.

Meanwhile, Mildenhall Town's Ridgeons League Premier Division trip to Histon Reserves was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
