Mick Money is not worried about throwing youngsters in at the deep end.
After signing two rookies from Attleborough Town this week, the Thetford Town FC boss is set to involve young reserve team duo Chris Gibbons, 17, and Robbie Holt, 19, against promotion-chasing Halstead Town tomorrow (ko 3pm).

New additions Matt Brown – a 17-year-old right winger – and central midfielder Adam Pearson, 19, will both start the Ridgeons League Division One fixture at Mundford Road.

Their inclusion means the average age of the Brecklanders' expected to line-up will be 22.

"They are both good signings," said Money, who takes charge of his first home match tomorrow.

"Age does not matter – if you are good enough then you are old enough," he added.
