Designs have gone on show for a renewable energy biomass power plant in Thetford.
Energy Power Resources (EPR) wants to build a plant which will burn waste wood to generate green electricity capable of powering 68,500 homes.

A public exhibition, including computer generated images, aerial photographs and detailed information about site operations opens today.

EPR is already established in Thetford, running the world's largest chicken litter fuelled plant in the town, and the new plant would create 36 permanent jobs and cover an area of 20 acres.

The public exhibition at Thetford's Guildhall in the Market Place runs today and tomorrow.
