Elderly residents at St Leonard's Court Care Home, in Mundford, had to be evacuated after a fire earlier today.
Residents and carers evacuated to their fire safety point - at the Crown Inn pub where food and drink was laid on for them.

Thetford firefighters tackled the small fire in the stairwell following a call at 10am.

A spokeswoman for the home said all 25 residents were evacuated.

She said: "Nobody was hurt. It looks like it was caused by a faulty light fitting that dropped on to the carpet. It was an internal stairwell between two fire doors, it was contained and there was minimal damage."
