A134 at Lynford closed following accident

The A134 at Lynford remains closed this morning following a serious accident.
At about 6.15am, emergency services were called to the scene of a collision involving a lorry and a car, with reports of a trapped person.

Fire appliances from Thetford and Methwold attended the scene as well as a rescue tender from King's Lynn and hydraulic rescue equipment was used to free the casualty.

Three people have been taken to hospital by ambulance, two as a precaution and one with serious injuries.

Emergency services remain at the scene and are awaiting vehicle recovery before the road can be reopened.
