A decision over plans to turn a former car showroom in Needham Market into new homes was due to be made this week.
Car dealer and garage Kerridges has applied to Mid Suffolk District Council to turn Hall Garage, in Ipswich Road, into six flats and one town house.

In 2006, the business was refused a similar application for eight homes on the grounds it would over-develop the site. Now, planning officers are recommending the new application be granted, as it is within a residential area, with good transport links.

District councillors were due to discuss the plans on Wednesday.
