Three intrepid cyclists are planning to pedal their way from Wyverstone to Walberswick and back to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society.
Victoria Spofforth, 27, and her brother Sam, 24, of The Street, Wyverstone, will make the 85-mile journey on Sunday in memory of their mum, Sue, who died on Christmas Eve, aged 66, having suffered from Alzheimer's disease for 14 years.

The pair, who will be joined by Sam's girlfriend, Georgie Burr, 22, plan to leave early and make it to Walberswick in time for lunch before pedalling home again.

Miss Spofforth, who is a Bury Free Press photographer, said: "The trip will be a nostalgic one as it's the route we used to take for trips to the beach with mum and I think she would approve.

"Our family and friends think it's a good idea, but they also think we're a bit mad.

"The Alzheimer's Society desperately needs our support, to help to raise money to provide care and advice for those suffering from this disease."
