Bury St Edmunds finished their season with an 85-run win away at Vauxhall Mallards to finish ninth in the Gibbs Denley East Anglian Premier League table.

Justin Bishop (119) was impressive with the bat as he recorded a century for the second week running to help the visitors finish on 209 runs.

An explosive opening spell by Michael Comber (3-20) saw the Bury bowler take three early wickets to reduce the home side to 16-3.

Tom Huggins (5-46) and Russell Stockdale (2-38) then helped Bury bowl Mallards for 124 runs to secure their third win in a row.

n Bury St Edmunds III (181-3) completed their season with a seven-wicket victory at home to Harwich and Dovercourt (177) in Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Championship Division Five.

Irfan Amin (6-42) took six wickets for Bury, with Sandeep Singh (87no) helping the home side end their campaign on a high.

n Bury St Edmunds IV (169-6) lost their final Division Eight West match of the season at second-placed Battisford (251-7).

Taylor Edwards (3-43) and Neil Jefferies (2-49) bowled well for the visitors, while Tony Riddick (55) was impressive with the bat for Bury.

n Bury Ladies finished their T20 League season in third place after a win over Maldon.

Esme Covington-Cross and Alex Pierce-Sanderson helped reduce Maldon to 109-5, and batting from Angela Jiggins (62 no) helped Bury reach the target with six overs to spare.

n Bury St Edmunds Sunday (170-6) finished their Hunts Bats League 
campaign with a home win over Walsham-le-Willows (169).
