STELLAR SEASON: Burys Kenny Eggars will be looking to maintain his scoring form

Bury St Edmunds’ Kenny Eggars is confident the club can maintain their unstoppable form and clinch London One North title glory.

The centre, who was absent for the table-toppers’ 34-10 win over Old Haberdashers on Saturday, a 30th consecutive success, has been in spectacular form this season, scoring an impressive 22 tries to make him the fifth highest try scorer in the entire country.

And with Eggars set to return ahead of the trip to fifth-placed Brentwood tomorrow (2.15pm), he is determined for the club to continue their recent level of performance to remain on track for promotion.

“The season is going great and everything at the moment is looking good,” he said.

“We have a really strong bond among the squad and that has shown with the fantastic performances we have put in.

“The run we are on is amazing and I definitely think we can remain unbeaten throughout the entire season, that should be our aim.

“I’ve been delighted with my own form, but it is not just down to me, everyone in the squad has played their part.

“I’m happy to keep scoring, but that is not the most important thing.

“If others score then great, as long as it keeps us going in the right direction.

“All I aim to do is keep doing my best for the team and help us keep winning to gain promotion.

“Brentwood will be tough, but we are confident of a win.”
