Three in a row for Shane

RISING STAR: Lakenheaths Shane Lock

RISING STAR: Lakenheaths Shane Lock

Rising motocross star Shane Lock (above) has secured his third consecutive title.

The 14-year-old from Lakenheath has stepped up in class each of those years and now plans to have a crack at the Red Bull Nationals in 2013.

His latest success was clinching the Norfolk and Suffolk Junior Motocross Club Big Wheel 85 title, adding to his Small Wheel 85 and 65 class success of the past two years.

Lock – whose dad Shaun is his mechanic - was also triumphant at the Eastern Centre British Championships.

Mum Zoe said: “He wasn’t expected to win this year, but he’s blown the competition out of the water.”

The Mildenhall College pupil harbours ambitions to compete professionally.

Sutton Services in Lakenheath, Tower and Access Hire, and Danger UK have sponsored Lock this year.
