Eastgate boys take on old foes

Eastgate boxers continued their fine run of form with convincing wins for 14-year-olds Sam Willams and Ryan Day at Chatters recently.

The boys came up against old foes, Dean Baxter and Ryan Ducker, respectively.

Senior Jimmy Fell found Fenland Sparta’s James Lamb a handful before securing the majority verdict

Willams and Day, along with 14-year-old Paul Price, begin their trail in the National Schoolboy ABAs.

Day faces Sudbury’s Jordan Burgess in the Suffolk divisional finals at the club’s Grassroots show, to be held at Whelnetham Community Centre, on Saturday (12pm).
