Catches give out a buzz

Wishing tight-lines this new year to everyone from Blackdyke Trout Fly Fishery.

There were good catches over the Christmas break, with blood worm buzzers being the best fly. Small nymphs were also working well on floating lines with a slow figure of eight retrieve.

The fishery is offering a half hour’s free tuition to beginners throughout January. Telephone the lodge on 07525 730447 to book a time.
