No sport in Bury area this weekend

The cold weather has claimed the scheduled senior sporting fixtures that were due to take place in the Bury St Edmunds area this weekend.

The Thurlow Nunn League and Suffolk and Ipswich League decided to postpone all fixtures due to take place in their competitions, while Bury Town’s journey to Harrow Borough in the Ryman Premier and Needham Market’s trip to Waltham Abbey in Ryman One North failed pitch inspections on Friday.

Earlier in the week, Bury St Edmunds Hockey Club called off all their home fixtures, while all rugby fixtures are also off.
