West Suffolk Athletics Club finished fourth as their track and field season got under way in the Eastern Young Athletes League.
They secured fourth at Cambridge on Sunday, although a long way behind the top three teams.

There was a fine new pb and win in the under-17 men’s 1,500 metres by Ben Eames and an excellent double first by Kyle Potter and Harry Unwin in the 100m, both with pbs.
Further wins for the under-17 men came in triple jump courtesy of Scott Handley-Howard and Lawrence Taylor, and in discus by Harry Hughes and Euan McKie, Hughes also coming out on top in javelin.
The previous weekend he had gone clear at the top of the UK rankings with a throw of 61.16 metres, his first over 60 metres.
The under-15 boys’ best result was Levi-Jack Roper’s win in the hammer.
Under-13s Claudia Spencer-Hall and Harvey Williams also secured pbs while under-17 Alana Hart overcame injury to take part.
