There was an upset in the under-18 boys singles at the Bury and West Suffolk Junior tennis tournament, with top seed Kareem Shah losing in the semi-final to unseeded Ewan Evans. But Evans was the beaten by second seed Nick Ghaznavi in the final.

The tournament has attracted more than 240 players, the largest entry since moving to Culford four years ago. Several age group events have yet to be decided, with the 88th tournament ending on Saturday.
