Spectrum crown more club champions

Bury Spectrum crowned more club champions, right, with this week being the turn of the elite and competition groups.

After the top tumblers were crowned last week, girls aged from six years old through to 13-plus displayed their skills on vault, bars, beam and floor this week.

Erin Berry won the level eight (aged five and six) competition, from Tia Bonsor and Tallula Quansah.

At level seven, Jess Marshall won the 10-12 age group from Maisy Freeman and Ciara Leeson, Isla-Joy Ramirez beat Ella Garrard to the title in the seven-to-nine category, while Cerys Evans triumphed in the six-to-seven age from Erin McCarter and Edith Ryall.

Phoebe Maddever won the level six competition for gymnasts aged 10 and over, with Eleanor Rainford second and Holly Hards third, while Jasmine Thomas took the eight-and-nine category and Zoe Sillett saw off Tilly Heath in the seven-and-eight age group.

Katie Rogers topped the level five (aged eight and nine) event from Clara Saiu-Bell and Ashleigh Price.

At level four, aged 12 and over, Zoe Winter was first and Olivia Starr second, while Gwyndolyn Gallagher won the 10-and-11 category from Mallory Starks and Courtney Davey.

Lucy Robinson beat Eleanor Heath in the level three (aged 11 and 12) category, while – for gymnasts aged 13 and over – Alice Batchelor was first, Megan Vowles second and Niamh Gill-Ryan third.

At level two (aged 11 and 12) Danielle Tabios won from Milly Richards.

The development champion was Erin Berry, competition champion Jess Marshall, novice champion Katie Rogers, junior champion Gwyndolyn Gallagher and overall club champion Danielle Tabios.
