BLACKDYKE Trout Fishery had a record smashed when Jim Miller landed a 16lb 9oz rainbow on Saturday evening, finishing off a good day’s fishing.

The best fish last week was around 9lb, which as taken on a dry fly and returned unharmed to the water.
