Bart Farmer has entered a 4lb 7oz fish, which he caught at Blackdyke Trout Fishery on Sunday into the Trout Masters competition.

Despite the changing weather conditions, the Hockwold venue is still fishing well.

Tadpole lures, white minkies and yellow dancers caught the most fish.

n Fishing at Larkwood this week has been excellent, especially towards the end of the week for Mr Cornell, whose three-fish bag weighed 11lb 4oz.

The average weight overall has been very high, working out at more than 3lb, with fish being taken up to 6lb in stunning condition, with these full-tailed beauties fighting well in the colder water.

The best fly by far this week has been the Aps Bloodworm, which has been taking fish to three feet in West Stow Lake and around 10-12 feet in Glebe Lake.

A static or very slow retrieve will achieve best results.

Despite the rain, both lakes remain clear so use fine tippets.
