TRAVIS Manning, aged 12 from Bury St Edmunds, proved he is a world class kickboxer when he travelled to Newark last weekend for the Junior Full Contact Five Nations Championships, winning three fights and all nine rounds.
The first fight was against a Birmingham lad from Saxon Gym.
Manning outclassed him with his powerful body kicks before taking on a home boy from Newark, taking his second win that day.
He then stepped into the ring for the final against team-mate Carlos Regini-Moran and being crowned champion.
This year, Manning has become 2011 National, British, World and Five Nations Champion, a fine achievement for a young lad and will travel to Florida for the 2012 World Championships.
Last month, he passed his red band assistant coach in Thai and kickboxing and is now able to assist and pass on his knowledge to his fellow club members.
This weekend, Manning will step back into the ring at one of the biggest night shows watched by an audience of hundreds at Gorleston, taking on a local Ipswich lad.
