MARLEY Browne, aged 10 years, from Elmswell, travelled to Birmingham to compete in the World Association of Kickboxing Organisations British Championships 2012.

The Beyton Middle School pupil won through to the semi finals and achieved third place, bringing home a bronze medal.

As a result the youngster has been invited to be a member of the WAKO GB Squad, where teams are chosen to represent Great Britain at WAKO National, European and World events.

Marley, who is a member of Scorpion Academy Club, in Stowmarket and has been involved in the sport for the last three years, will now have the opportunity to compete in the WAKO World Championships, which are being held in Slovakia later this year.
