British superbike rider Luke Mossey, who is sixth in the championship following the opening round at Silverstone, will be meeting the superbike stars of the future in Bury St Edmunds at the weekend.
He’ll be joining last year’s British F1 sidecar champions Ricky Charlwood and Ryan Stevens at the second round of the Cool FAB Racing British Minibikes Championship at Red Lodge which starts today.
Swedish rider Filip Backlund is also hoping to attend depending on fitness following his collarbone injury.
The competition got off to a flying start in Llandow over the Easter Bank Holiday with the likes of Casey O’Gorman, Josh Whatley, Ollie Walker, Mason Johnson, Amanuel Brinton, Elliot Pinson and Josh Bannister all battling it out for the top positions.
Moto2 GP rider Danny Kent started his professional racing career on the Cool FAB Racing circuit and once again younger brother Kieran is expected to be competing in the PitBike Open, along with BSB riders Fraser Rogers, Charlie Nesbitt, Max Cook, Cameron Horsman and TJ Toms.
The 2015 champion, Elliot Pinson, 12, from Swindon, will also be at the venue and is hoping he can hold on to the top spot in the MiniGP 70 category.
