Larkwood saw some consistent fishing, with numerous catches in the 5-6lb range, including the beauty (pictured) by Brendan Spurling, which was caught on a black nymph.
But the best results by far were by regular angler Chris Cullen, who had 24 fish up to 11lb 2oz. Cullen took these fish equally from both lakes.
The most prolific flies have been black buzzer and claret cruncher.
Floating lines with a fine flurocarbon tippet is the best method as both lakes are gin clear.
