Despite a eye-catching performance from Bury Bombers’ Chris Rix, they lost their final home game of the season 57-26, having trailed 41-9 at half-time.

Bombers’ points came from: Daniel Dickings, Jack Perry (four, including shot of the day) and Rix.

n Bombers’ main fund-raising event of the year will be at Culford School on July 6-7.
