THE weather has delayed the Mildenhall Fen Tigers’ bid to reach the National League play-off final.

The Tigers were set to take a 22-point advantage across the Solent after a tremendous display at West Row on Sunday saw them open up a huge first-leg advantage.

However, the second leg, set for Tuesday, October 2, was postponed when the Smallbrook Stadium track became waterlogged following a deluge of rain.

The Tigers — who hope to end the campaign with six trophies — host the Dudley Heathens on Sunday (4.30pm) in the first leg of the National League Knockout Cup final.
