Mildenhall were unable to gain revenge over Haverhill for defeat earlier in the season as they crashed to an eight-wicket reverse.
The visitors’ Adam Dellar scored an unbeaten 141 to help his side chase down Hall’s 229-7 in 33 overs and swap the two sides’ positions in the table.
Adam Trett and Alex Reynolds each departed for four and Andy Squire became the victim of some poor calling and was run out for 12.
Teenager Jack Beaumont — fresh from last weekend’s appearance for the Suffolk — joined Erik Laubscher (43) until the latter was caught behind by Kyle Blanchard off Dan Poole in the next over.
Captain Steve Lankester (22) hit four boundaries before he was bowled.
James Holmes (37) put on another half-century stand with Beaumont (56), but having reached 183 they were both out in quick succession.
Ryan Clark and Tom Allen scampered their way to a 46-run partnership in the final five overs to close on 229-7.
In reply, Dellar and Amit Gupta raised 50 in just six overs, but a change of bowling saw Gupta (35) caught behind by Clark off Laubscher.
Mildenhall had one more success when Blanchard was caught off Laubscher (2-36) for 14, but Dellar struck 24 boundaries, including eight sixes, as he and Luke Youngs (38no) guided them home.
n Mildenhall II lost at Ipswich and ES in Division Two by 56 runs, despite Martin Kingdon’s 4-63.
Stand-in skipper Alistair Younger (70) led the run chase.
n Mildenhall III overcame Ipswich III in Division Five, with Ben Tippett (5-32) and Lee Chipchase (3-38) helping bowl the visitors out for 156.
In reply, Mick Saunders (46) and Ben Tippett (34) set up a good position and Kieren Davis (30no) and Jon Giffen (5no) completed the run chase.
n Mildenhall IV suffered a 27-run defeat at Copford II in Division Seven, despite Taha Ahmed’s 4-78 and Jordan Francis’ 64.
