The UK’s number one tchoukball club and one of Bury St Edmunds’ most successful sports team are looking to help establish the sport further by offering free taster sessions.
Having moved to a new facility at South Lee School, the club are looking to expand the sport by opening their doors on Thursday with free coaching from 8-9pm and will be followed by a demonstration from the Bury players.
Despite still being a relatively new sport, Bury — ranked number six in the world — have already won two national competitions this season and boast a host of international players in the men’s, women’s and junior set-ups.
The club currently has two teams with players ranging from 12 to 35 years old.

The club’s ladies’ side — Bury Foxes — defeated Harwich 35-5 in a friendly last week, with Becky Meadows (two), Bronwyn Skipworth, Laura Hudson, Steph Durrant and Kelly Evans all scoring tries.
