Your chance to bid for Russell’s Norwich City shirt for Sport Relief

editorial image

NORWICH City fans have the chance to own a piece of the club’s emerging history and help raise funds for Sport Relief by bidding to own an away kit signed by 19 members of the current Premier League squad.

Anglia Newspapers’ deputy sports editor Russell Claydon, also our Ipswich Town columnist, bravely wore the shirt at Ipswich’s Portman Road (pictured), after attaining it from Norwich City Football Club from a private signing session for Sport Relief, who raise vital funds for disadvantaged children.

And after already raising more than £600 from both online and offline donations, he is now auctioning off the signed shirt (mens medium size), along with the shorts and socks in one special item on Ebay.

The bidding began at 8pm on Tuesday and will finish at 8pm a week on Friday (April 13). The item can be found on www.ebay.co.uk by typing ‘Signed Norwich City away shirt 2011/12 for Sport Relief’ in the search toolbar on the website and includes the same picture as printed above alongside it.
