Bury Town’s home hoodoo continued on Saturday as they slumped to a heavy 4-0 defeat to Hendon at Ram Meadow.
Goals in each half from Casey Maclaren, Carl McCluskey, Jefferson Louis and Anthony Thomas condemned the Blues to another home defeat in a run which has seen them concede four in each of their last three games.
There was also disappointment for Needham Market who suffered their first defeat of the season as they crashed out of the FA Trophy at the first hurdle going down 3-0 away at Tilbury.
In the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division, Mildenhall Town were held to a 1-1 draw by Golreston while Walsham-le-Willows eased to a 3-1 success over CRC.
Elsewhere, in the First Division, Thetford Town went down to a 2-1 defeat to Kirkley and Pakefield, Team Bury lost on the road, suffering a 1-0 defeat at Braintree Town Reserves, while, struggling Stowmarket Town slumped to an emphatic 7-1 loss at Swaffham Town.
Meanwhile, in the rugby, Bury St Edmunds claimed a fourth straight win in National League Three London and South East after battling to a 25-10 success over winless Basingstoke at the Haberden.
