Walsham-le-Willows racked up double figures with a stunning 11-0 victory against beleaguered Diss Town on Boxing Day.
The Willows took the lead in the fifth minute when Ryan Foster got brought down in the box and Andrew Wood converted the penalty.
Walsham doubled their advantage in the 18th minute when a great cross by Lee Sim was tucked away at the front post by Wood.
The third goal arrived when a Paul Musgrove cross was met at the back post by an unmarked Jack Brame, who headed home.
Three more goals for Walsham were quick to follow before half-time.
Ryan Foster’s lovely throughball found Wood, who chipped the goalkeeper to complete his hat-trick before Brame tapped in and Sim saw his 20-yard effort deflected past the goalkeeper.
The onslaught continued after the break when a cross from the left was headed into his own net by Diss defender Roscoe Hipperson just two minutes after the restart.
Walsham’s eighth goal arrived after 54 minutes when a lovely ball down the line by Chris McLaughlin sent Brame racing through and he made no mistake, firing home low and hard for his hat-trick.
A Foster free-kick was put away by Tom Debenham and goal number 10 arrived when Luke Austin played a good ball across the Diss penalty box and Wood was on hand to net his fourth.
Walsham’s final goal came when Andrew Cusack broke clear down the left and thumped his left-footed shot past the keeper.
