Tickets are now on sale for this year’s Suffolk FA Awards Night sponsored by McDonald’s.

FA chief executive Martin Glenn is to be the guest of honour at the event on Friday, June 3, in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite at Portman Road, home of Ipswich Town FC.

It is a coup for Suffolk FA to attract the top man at The FA, and follows on from David Sheepshanks, the former Ipswich Town chairman and now chairman of St George’s Park, speaking last year.

The evening will feature several awards including The FA Community and Long Service awards as well as the Player-of -the-season for the county’s three Representative sides – Ladies, Under-18s and Under-16s – and the Groundsman of the Year.

Places are limited to a maximum of 150 and tickets, priced just £25 which also includes a three-course meal.

Co-organiser Nick Garnham said: “Following the success of last year’s inaugural Awards Night, we are really looking forward to staging this year’s event.”
