Thetford Town visit Walsham-le-Willows in a six-pointer at Summer Road to mark the start of the Thurlow Nunn League’s latest Groundhopper weekend tonight (7.45pm).
The Brecklanders (18th) currently occupy the last relegation place in the Premier Division table ahead of the weekend, with Walsham (17th), only out of the bottom three on goal difference.
Danny White’s Thetford side will be looking to keep up their recent upturn in results, which has seen them win one and draw two of their last three.
Oliver Standley, Robbie Priddle and Shaun Hunsdon were all on target in the 3-3 home draw with fifth place Long Melford on Saturday, in a game which saw Anthony Waugh sent off for the visitors.
n In the Premier Division, Mildenhall Town (seventh) face a trip to mid-table Gorleston tomorrow (3pm).
After losing 2-0 at home to league leaders Norwich United on Saturday, Mildenhall then secured a share of the spoils with second place Stanway Rovers on Tuesday night.
Ben Yeomans cancelled out an earlier goal from Stanway’s Craig Hughes to help Hall pick up a point at Recreation Way.
n In the First Division, Stowmarket Town are also involved in the Groundhopper weekend when they host Woodbridge Town at Greens Meadow tomorrow (12pm).
Remell Davis and Matt Dixon grabbed the goals for Stow in their narrow 3-2 defeat at Braintree Town Reserves on Saturday.
Rick Andrews’ men then entertain Halstead Town in the semi-finals of the First Division Knockout Cup on Tuesday (7.45pm).
