Needham MArket’s re-arranged Ryman League Division One North game against AFC Sudbury, due to be played tonight, has been called off for a second time.
AFC had originally been due to travel to Bloomfields for a Suffolk derby on Boxing Day, before the wet weather led to it being postponed.
But despite little rain falling over the county in last four days, the Bloomfields pitch was deemed unplayable after a mid-morning pitch inspection on Tuesday.
Needham Market’s scheduled fixture on Saturday, at Erith and Belvedere was also postponed.
The Marketmen have not played at home since December 14.
