Bury Sunday League

The league held the Division Two KO Cup final between Mellis and CFC Bury, writes Ian Friend.

Mellis scored three goals without reply to lift the trophy and could complete a league and cup double if they can win three of the four games in hand.

LPFC booked their place in the Frames Conservatories Direct Floodlit Cup final with a 5-1 semi-final win over The Mace.

In Division Two, Gt Whelnetham recorded a 4-2 win at Thurston.

Coldham Hall and Chedbough shared the points with a three-all draw.

In Division Three, leaders Cheveley won 2-1 at third-placed Liberty and Shakhtar were 3-1 winners at home to Occold.

In Division Four, league leaders AFC Norton scored twice without reply at Abotts 07 and second-placed Eastbury Eagles were 3-1 winners at Rattlesden.
