Needham Market striker Sam Newson is really appreciative of the support he and the club are receiving ahead of today’s FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie with Cambridge United.
A sell-out crowd of 2,000 is expected for the occasion — one of the biggest non-League matches in recent memory.
Newson said: “It’s a massive occasion and I know there are a lot of kids at the school I teach that are coming today, which is really nice, and obviously people are bringing their friends and family.”
Ahead of the match, which kicks off at 3pm, he added: “The boys are really excited and we’re all raring to go.
“I’ve had loads of Tweets off friends and family today, which are really appreciated.”
