Crowley at the double to help Brook to third successive win

David Crowley’s brace helped Wickhambrook Under-17s beat Newmarket Town and secure their third win on the trot in our match of the week.

Brook opened the scoring through Crowley and took the game to their opponents in the second period, going two up through skipper Harry Willett.

Newmarket pulled one back, but Wickhambrook would not be denied and Crowley thumped home a header.

Sam Clayton thundered in a volley to complete the double over their rivals.

Brandon Lasses Under-14s took control against Walsham early on with Millie Bales scoring in the first minute and Ellesse Masters adding a second.

Although Brandon dominated, Walsham were hard to break down, but finally Sam Cole added Brandon’s third. Georgia Dargan made it four.

North Walsham managed to get one back, but Brandon responded well with five goals in ten minutes, Bales getting two more and Cole, Masters and Dargan all getting a second before Cole went on to complete her hat-trick.
