Bury Town cash-flow problems: Back the Blues against Thamesmead

Bury Town return to the football pitch for the first time since the details of their cash-flow problems were revealed when they host Thamesmead Town in the Ryman League Premier Division on Saturday (3pm).

The Blues — who have not played since completing an unbeaten December with a 3-2 victory over AFC Hornchurch three days after Christmas — are expected to make one change for the match.

Left-back Seb Dunbar is suspended, meaning Joe Whight should move from central midfield to replace him, with the fit-again John Kennedy coming into the team.

Manager Richard Wilkins said: “The postponement of recent games due to weather isn’t great for any team on a good run like ourselves.”
