Bury Town manager Ben Chenery is working hard to improve his side’s attacking prowess after completing the signing of Portuguese winger Nuno Sousa.
The new signing, who is being introduced slowly to the team while he learns English, could be joined in the squad by another wide player within the next week.
“It’s difficult for Nuno at the moment because there is a language barrier, but he is a player who will flourish in certain types of games,” said Chenery, whose side have netted three goals in eight league games this season. “Opportunities will be coming his way shortly and I hope he can grab them.”
Bury travel to Peacehaven and Telscombe tomorrow (3pm) and host Leatherhead on Tuesday (7.45pm).
Captain Seb Dunbar will hope to overcome a hamstring problem to feature.
