Mildenhall Fen Tigers lost their first home National League encounter of the season, 48-42 against Coventry Storm this afternoon.

Only captain Dan Halsey (14 points) and reserve Connor Coles (9+4) showed any true resistance as new British Under-21 champion Josh Bates (4) endured a difficult meeting.

The Tigers thrashed Scunthorpe Stages 63-29 on their travels on Friday night, with every rider scoring paid double figures.

Reserves Connor Mountain (13 points) and Connor Coles (11+3) racked up the biggest scores, with guests Liam Carr (11) and Darren Mallett (10+2) also impressing, along with regular Tigers Brendan Johnson (9+3) and Jack Kingston (9+2).
