Bury St Edmunds’ preparations for their second campaign in the National League 2 South have been boosted by the arrival of Emyr Williams.
The 23-year-old, who has represented Wales at rugby sevens level, linked up with Guinness Pro12 outfit Ospreys aged just 18.
He has also turned out for Neath, Swansea, Llanelli, as well as having a spell in Australia.
Speaking about the new addition, Terry Sands, performance director for Bury 1XV said: “Emyr is an excellent addition to the squad.
At only 23 years of age and having been a contracted player at Ospreys for almost 3 years, he will be a welcome member to the Bury Wolfpack.”
Williams is the second player with Ospreys connections to have arrived at The Haberden during the off-season after Cai Griffiths agreed a player-coach deal back in May.
