Walsham Reserves 7
WALSHAM had the upper hand in the opening quarter of the match, with Double, in the Needham goal, called on to make early saves. Gaught’s cross-cum-shot eluded him and found its way into the top corner.
Needham looked dangerous on the break, and Grimes hit the post just before the interval.
In the second half, Needham started the stronger, with Lynn in the Walsham goal having to make a smart save.
Goals came at regular intervals for Walsham from Proctor (2), Brame (2) and Bolton.
Needham still had chances through Henry to reduce the deficit, before Proctor completed his second hat-trick in four days to give the final scoreline a disproportionate look.
