NICK Laurence has this week raised his concerns over the future of Mildenhall Fen Tigers.
The West Row rider admits that he and the rest of the squad have been left in limbo as a takeover deal between departing chairman Ray Mascall and a mystery prospect buyer appears to be nearing its conclusion.

"We don't really know what is going on," said Laurence. "It is frustrating because I just want to ride and if that means finding a new club then so be it.

"Obviously I hope that the Tigers are saved because I enjoy riding here. I have spoken to team manager John Adams and it looks like a deal is close."

As a result of the ongoing talks, the Fenmen have had three consecutive meetings postponed, including Sunday's National League home fixture against Buxton.
