Mildenhall on the Vase trail

MILDENHALL TOWN FC take the first step in their FA Vase journey when they entertain Godmanchester for a first qualifying round tie at Recreation Way tomorrow (ko 3pm).
Town secured a place in the next round of the FA Cup on Tuesday, defeating Wisbech 4-0 in a replay following a 2-2 draw on Saturday.

On target for the hosts were Carl Murkin, Lewis Baillie, Alan North and Chris Bacon.

"The players worked hard and deserved the victory," said joint manager Dave Pinkowski.

"We now have to repeat that in what is one of the most important fixtures in the non-league calendar," he added.

On Tuesday, Mildenhall return to league action with CRC the visitors (ko 7.45pm).
